🔓 Hackers use $5 AI agents to break into websites, security researchers find

Security startup NorForge has uncovered more than 20 exposed control panels linked to suspected criminal use of Cairn, an AI hacking system that coordinates autonomous agents to identify vulnerabilities and compromise websites.

The Shift:

AI Agents Target Over 1,100 Websites - One cluster of 14 exposed dashboards contained more than 1,100 attack projects, primarily targeting e-commerce businesses in the US, Japan, and Australia. Agents independently investigated vulnerabilities and attempted intrusions.

Attacks Cost Just $5 Per Attempt - NorForge estimates an average 10% success rate, with successful projects taking under 23 hours. Model costs averaged roughly $5 per attempt, although both figures are estimates.

Researchers Confirm a Real Website Breach - NorForge verified that an AI agent had installed a working backdoor on a hardware vendor's website, demonstrating that the system could successfully compromise real businesses.

Hackers Expose Their Own Credentials - The attackers left dashboards publicly accessible without passwords, revealing targets, attack plans, and hundreds of credentials. Researchers found 11% of exposed secrets were still valid, creating additional security risks.

The findings show how inexpensive AI agents could make automated cyberattacks more accessible and scalable. Common website vulnerabilities remain attractive targets, while unsecured AI dashboards introduce additional risks for both attackers and legitimate security testers handling sensitive client information.

Together with Insense

You don't have a creator problem. You have a workflow problem.

A creator disappears. A shipment stalls. Your paid team waits another week for content while someone tracks contracts and payments across separate tools.

Insense replaces that workflow with one self-serve platform.

One place to receive creator matches from 115,000+ vetted profiles, run briefs, ship product, automate contracts and payments, and own full lifetime content rights.

The results speak for themselves:

  • Nurture Life cut turnaround time from 2 months to 2 weeks using just one marketer and Insense
  • Solawave received 180+ ad-ready assets in a single month by simply shipping products
  • Matys Health achieved 12× reach through Spark Ads on TikTok

More than 5000 brands and agencies use Insense, with first creator applications arriving within 48 hours and teams saving 40+ hours monthly.

💬How to use ChatGPT’s Apple Messages plugin

ChatGPT can now search your iMessage history, catch you up on group chats, draft replies in your voice, and send them. Two-minute setup. Here’s how.

Step 1: Install the Apple Messages plugin - Open the ChatGPT desktop app > Plugins > search Apple Messages > Install. Complete the macOS permissions when prompted, Screen Recording and Accessibility are both required. Requires Apple silicon Mac and ChatGPT Plus or Pro.

Step 2: Catch up on what you missed - “Use Apple Messages to review my texts from the last 24 hours. Find every conversation where someone asked me a question or is waiting for a reply. Summarize the three most important ones and tell me what each person needs.”

Step 3: Draft replies in your voice - “Draft a reply to [name]’s last message. Keep it in my natural tone, casual, direct, no fluff. Show me the draft before sending anything.”

Step 4: Summarize group chats - “Catch me up on [group chat name] from the last week. What decisions were made, what is still unresolved, and is there anything I need to respond to?”

Step 5: Send with approval - ChatGPT shows you the exact message and recipient before sending anything. Approve each one individually. Never let it send without review.

Always keep per-send approval on. A message goes out under your name, not ChatGPT’s.

🧠 Anthropic Co-Founder declares the AI singularity has begun

Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark told economists and policymakers at the IMF's annual meetings that “the singularity is here,” arguing that AI is beginning to accelerate scientific discovery and technological progress beyond traditional expectations.

The Shift:

AI's Scientific Capabilities Are Accelerating - Clark declared, “I believe that this year we have gained convincing evidence that it has now begun.” He cited Humanity's Last Exam scores rising from 8% to 67.7% and FrontierMath from 2% to 94%.

AI Could Push US GDP to $44 Trillion - Anthropic's modeling suggests US GDP could reach $44 trillion by 2030 if advanced AI spreads rapidly. Clark acknowledged the projection, saying, “This sounds outlandish,” while emphasizing its potential economic implications.

A Billion Virtual Scientists Could Emerge - Clark envisioned 10 million human scientists directing a billion AI researchers, dramatically expanding scientific capacity. He warned, “We have to get ready,” urging governments to invest in laboratories and robotics.

Humanity Has Only a Few Years to Prepare - Clark called for stronger oversight of AI-driven research, particularly in sensitive fields. He warned that humanity has “a handful of years” to establish safeguards and make responsible decisions about development.

Clark believes AI has entered a period of accelerating scientific progress that could transform economies, research, and employment. His central warning is that governments must prepare for both the opportunities and risks, investing in scientific infrastructure while establishing meaningful controls over increasingly autonomous AI systems.

🧩 Prompt of the Day

Turn Multiple Reference Images Into One Realistic Product Render

Image Prompt: Create a high-fidelity 3D product visualization by combining multiple uploaded reference images using the formula Reference Images + Relationship Instructions + New Scenario.

Context

  • Reference Image 1: [Upload a product sketch or design]
  • Reference Image 2: [Upload a fabric, material, or texture sample]
  • Reference Image 3 (Optional): [Upload a color or styling reference]
  • Product: Modern upholstered armchair
  • Environment: Sun-drenched minimalist living room
  • Style: Photorealistic luxury interior visualization
  • Aspect Ratio: 4:5

Instructions

Use the first reference image as the exact structural blueprint for the armchair, preserving its silhouette, proportions, curves, armrests, and overall design. Apply the material, color, weave, and surface texture from the second reference image realistically across the upholstery. If a third reference is provided, incorporate its color palette or styling details without changing the original structure. Transform these references into a high-fidelity 3D armchair with believable stitching, fabric tension, cushioning, and material depth. Place the finished chair inside a sun-drenched minimalist living room featuring neutral walls, natural wood flooring, subtle architectural details, and soft sunlight entering through large windows. Maintain accurate scale, realistic shadows, and seamless integration between the product and environment.
