🏦 Major US banks block AI agents over unauthorized account access concerns
Major US banks, including JPMorgan, Bank of America, and Morgan Stanley, are restricting third-party AI agents after detecting automated access to customer accounts, raising concerns about unauthorized financial transactions and account security.

The Shift:
AI Agents Access Customer Bank Accounts - Banks have detected third-party AI agents logging in using customers' credentials, sometimes contacting support centers or appearing to take actions beyond users' original instructions.
Banks Fear Unauthorized Financial Transactions - Executives warn that AI agents with payment or transfer permissions could make unintended financial decisions, while banks struggle to distinguish authorized automation from potentially rogue activity.
Major Banks Restrict Third-Party AI Access - Morgan Stanley has begun blocking third-party agents, while JPMorgan, Bank of America, and Citi are introducing restrictions to reduce risks associated with automated account access.
Banks Consider Read-Only AI Permissions - Financial institutions are exploring limited access that allows AI agents to view account information without transferring money or making purchases, offering a potential compromise between convenience and security.
The restrictions highlight growing concerns about allowing autonomous AI systems to operate inside sensitive financial accounts. Banks face the challenge of supporting customer-authorized automation while

💪How to make ChatGPT tell you everything it has figured out about you
You have told ChatGPT more than you realize, in every question, vent, and half-finished idea. These four prompts make it read between the lines and hand you back a reflection of yourself.

Turn on Memory in ChatGPT settings first. Then run all four prompts in order, in one chat.
Prompt 1: What it has figured out - "Based on every conversation we've ever had, tell me the five things you've figured out about me that I've never directly told you. For each one, give me the specific clue that led you there."
ChatGPT reads between the lines of everything you have ever typed and names things you never said out loud.
Prompt 2: Your patterns and blind spot - "Now go one level down. Tell me the patterns you see in how I think and make decisions, and the one thing I am most in denial about."
It maps how you tend to think, decide, and get stuck, then names the blind spot you have been working hard not to look at.
Prompt 3: Two versions of your future - "Show me two versions of where I am in five years. One if I keep drifting. One if I fix the thing."
The gap between the two versions is the entire point.
Prompt 4: Your morning paragraph - "Write the one paragraph I should read every single morning, based on everything you know about me."
Save it somewhere you will actually see it. Take it as a mirror to think about, not a verdict to argue with.

🩺 Microsoft's AI diagnostic system outperforms doctors while reducing medical testing costs
Microsoft has published results showing its MAI-DxO AI diagnostic system achieved up to 3.7 times higher diagnostic accuracy than physicians in simulated medical cases, while selecting fewer and less expensive tests.

The Shift:
AI Achieves 83% Accuracy on Complex Cases - Across 304 New England Journal of Medicine cases, MAI-DxO achieved 83% diagnostic accuracy, compared with 36% for physicians using reference materials and 22% without them.
AI Outperforms Doctors in Emergency Cases - On common emergency department presentations, MAI-DxO achieved 80% diagnostic accuracy versus 47% for physicians, demonstrating stronger performance across more routine clinical scenarios.
AI Reduces Diagnostic Testing Costs - One configuration achieved 81% accuracy at less than half the estimated testing cost of comparable systems, using multiple AI agents to debate diagnoses and select necessary tests.
Microsoft Plans Real-World Clinical Testing - The company plans to evaluate MAI-DxO at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, comparing its diagnostic assessments with those made by practicing clinicians.
Microsoft's findings suggest AI could help physicians reach accurate diagnoses while reducing unnecessary medical tests and associated costs. However, the results come from controlled benchmark evaluations, and real-world clinical testing is needed to establish its reliability, safety, and effectiveness in patient care.
