🏛️ Anthropic pushes for faster AI regulation

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei published a new policy roadmap arguing that governments need to move much faster as AI capabilities continue to accelerate. The essay arrives alongside new proposals covering AI safety testing, employment disruption, biotechnology, and national security.

The Decode:

Mythos changed the conversation - Amodei highlighted the cybersecurity capabilities demonstrated by Claude Mythos Preview, arguing that frontier AI systems have become tools of national and global strategic importance rather than ordinary software products.

Regulators should have stronger oversight powers - Anthropic is proposing that advanced AI systems undergo independent evaluation across four major risk areas, with governments gaining the authority to restrict or pause deployment when necessary.

Economic changes could be significant - Amodei's proposals include preparing for large-scale employment shifts through measures such as AI-linked investment accounts, broader wealth-sharing mechanisms, and forms of universal basic income.

Healthcare, defense, and chips are included - Anthropic is also calling for faster approval pathways for AI-designed medicines, stronger limits on autonomous weapons, and tighter export controls on advanced semiconductor technology.

Rather than focusing only on model development, Anthropic is arguing that governments need frameworks for safety, employment, healthcare, and national security before AI capabilities advance beyond society's ability to adapt.

Google didn't update Search at I/O 2026. It replaced it.

AI Mode is expanding. The Search box just got its biggest AI upgrade in decades. Search agents now crawl the web and answer for users in the background, before anyone reaches your page.

If you're still grading yourself on rankings and traffic, you're scoring a game that no longer exists.

On June 17th, Chris Long, co-founder of Nectiv, breaks down what changed, what it means for B2B visibility, and how to build the workflows that get you cited in AI search.

In 60 minutes, you'll get:

  • The I/O 2026 updates that belong on your roadmap now
  • How to measure visibility past rankings: citations, prompt coverage, mentions
  • What makes content surface in fan-out and decision-stage queries
  • The workflows to audit, refresh, and publish content built for AI search

The old rules are gone. This session covers what replaced them.

🤓How to Make a High-Stakes Business Decision With Serno

Stop asking a chatbot. Get a team that debates before it answers.

Step 1: Drop your question - Type any decision you’re sitting on, build vs buy, pricing change, vendor selection. Serno assembles a team of AI expert personas around it instantly.

Step 2: Let them disagree - One expert is mandatory adversarial, their only job is to find the holes in every argument. The pushback is built in, not prompted.

Step 3: Audit the canvas - Every claim shows who made it, where it came from, and a confidence signal. No stats you can’t trace. No confident nonsense.

Step 4: Pick your answer - Claude, GPT, and Gemini all run the same question. See which model’s reasoning actually holds up on your specific decision. You can try Serno here.

🏭 Jeff Bezos bets on AI engineers, not chatbots

Jeff Bezos shared new details about Prometheus, the AI startup he launched in late 2024, while announcing a massive $12 billion funding round. Rather than focusing on digital assistants or content generation, the company is targeting one of industry's toughest challenges: designing complex physical systems faster.

The Decode:

The focus is physical-world innovation - Bezos says the company is developing AI that can help engineers design and improve complex products such as jet engines and other advanced machines, moving beyond traditional software-focused AI applications.

The startup was built with deep science expertise - Bezos co-founded Prometheus alongside Vik Bajaj, a physicist and chemist who helped create Alphabet's life sciences division, Verily.

Product development is the target - According to Bezos and Bajaj, engineers still rely on tools and workflows that have changed little in decades. Prometheus aims to accelerate the journey from idea to finished product, potentially reducing development cycles that currently take years.

Productivity growth is the bigger story - Bezos argued that AI-driven efficiency will create far more opportunities than it eliminates, predicting higher productivity, more innovation, and improvements in overall living standards as the technology spreads.

Prometheus is taking a different approach by targeting engineering itself, betting that the next major AI breakthrough could come from helping humans design aircraft, energy systems, medical devices, and other physical technologies much faster than today.

Plan Your App From Idea to Code Without Getting Stuck

Most beginners jump into coding before they understand what they are building. A strong app plan breaks the idea into features, screens, data, and small build steps.

Turn your app idea into a real project you can actually ship.

Paste the prompt: Drop this into ChatGPT, then fill in your app details.

Prompt to paste

Create a step-by-step app development plan for [Insert app idea] using [Insert programming language], based on my [Insert skill level] and [Insert timeframe]. Define the core features, user flow, required screens, data structure, and build order. Break the project into manageable coding tasks and explain what I should build first, test, and improve. Focus on helping me ship a working app while learning practical development skills.
